SENIOR TRAFFIC ANALYST
Bay State Milling - Minneapolis, MN
• Manage truck and rail transportation by performing the following duties (Other duties may be assigned)
• Track and trace rail shipments to facilitate their expeditious movement and provide location information to internal and external customers. Solve issues that arise during transit for these shipments.
• Work with motor carriers to ensure the best combination of price and service possible. Includes rate negotiation.
REQUIREMENTS: 5-10 years experience required. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, ten key. Must be able to work with rail carriers to solve movement issues and must understand how rail traffic flows through the rail system. Must have working knowledge with truckload shipping and the challenges faced in today’s working and regulatory environment. Must be comfortable with accounting practices and procedures. This is a detail oriented job. LTL and export knowledge a plus.
